{"id":10665,"date":"2007-02-20T00:58:44","date_gmt":"2007-02-19T23:58:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fedaiisf.it\/fimmg-no-ai-prezzi-di-riferimento\/"},"modified":"2007-02-20T00:58:44","modified_gmt":"2007-02-19T23:58:44","slug":"fimmg-no-ai-prezzi-di-riferimento","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fedaiisf.it\/en\/fimmg-no-ai-prezzi-di-riferimento\/","title":{"rendered":"FIMMG: no to reference prices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Style_3\"><span class=\"Style_6\">The FIMMG reiterates its &#039;no&#039; to the adoption of reference prices, in the Liguria Region, for the reimbursement of medicines already included in category A, the so-called proton pump inhibitors, medicines with gastroprotective and antiulcerous functions. <\/span>This was announced by the regional secretary of FIMMG Liguria, <span class=\"Style_6\">Francis Priest,<\/span> at the end of yesterday&#039;s meeting with the Councilor for Health of the Region, <span class=\"Style_6\">Claudio Montaldo<\/span>. \u201cFIMMG Liguria \u2013 Prete said \u2013 believes that not all proton pump inhibitors are equivalent, therefore the adoption of the reference price calibrated on the cheapest drug on the market is an exclusively administrative choice, not based on scientific evidence.
