The first is the commitment to <span class=\"Style_6\">&#8220;<\/span><span class=\"Style_6\">to avoid any undue conditioning\u201d<\/span> in the exercise of the profession, the second is the commitment to <span class=\"Style_6\">\u201cpromoting the therapeutic alliance with the patient\u201d.<\/span><br \/>The latest version of the Oath dates back to 1998. According to Fnomceo, &quot;the new Oath is a sort of secular initiation rite, which marks the entrance into a millenary profession&quot;, but subject to even very sensitive changes, given the continuous evolution of science , and the new ethical problems this creates. &quot;In this compromise between the confirmation of a millennial role on the one hand, and the changing social context and scientific perspectives on the other&quot;, the new text was born, &quot;updated in the drafting but not in the moral tension compared to the very ancient one of Hippocrates&quot;.
