The delegation represented the sector&#039;s employment emergency due to arbitrary layoffs by major pharmaceutical companies. The delegation documented that these layoffs occur without any crisis in the sector and, therefore, a government commitment was requested towards greater control and verification. The minister reported to his colleague Sacconi and to President Berlusconi the alarming picture that had been presented to him.
