The Italian Pharmaceutical Industry, almost half of which is based in Lombardy, is resisting the crisis and forecasts stable turnover for 2010 as well, with a slight increase in volumes. However, the continued compression of margins due to cost containment measures is worrying.<\/font><\/p>\n

If this trend continues, companies will have to cut investment in research with the risk of ending up on the margins of global business. And in the meantime, a further reduction in Technical-Scientific Representatives is foreseeable.<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

This is the state of the art outlined on 30 November in Milan by Sergio Domp\u00e8, president of Farmindustria, in the framework of a conference organized by Assolombarda.<\/font><\/p>\n
