IMS Health, a market intelligence firm for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, has appointed Adel Al-Saleh, Senior Vice President, Sales and Global Account Management. Previously, Al-Saleh held the position of President for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Regions for IMS. New President EMEA has been appointed Seyed Mortazavi.<\/p>\n

Adel Al-Saleh is Senior Vice President, Sales and Global Account Management, responsible for the company's key go-to-market initiatives and ensuring the consistency of a globally integrated approach to client engagement. Mr. Al-Saleh was called to this position in July 2010, previously serving three years as President of IMS, Europe, Middle East and Africa, with responsibility for IMS operations in over 50 countries. He joined the company in 2007 as IMS senior vice president, Head of Sales, Major Countries, EMEA. He comes from a 19-year career at IBM, where he held the position of Vice President, Sales, IBM Northeast Europe.<\/em>  \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
