The National Forum for Pharmaceuticals intends ccreate a movement of opinion, among citizens and among those who work in the sector, for the protection of health through the correct use and therapeutic use of drugs, promoting their efficiency, availability and fair access. <\/em>On this common thread, e <\/em>especially starting from the problems and difficulties of the pharmaceutical sector, they took turns <\/em>reports and communications during the 1st national conference of the Forum which took place in Rome on the 23rd <\/em>last October in the prestigious institutional seat of Palazzo Marini. They took part in the conference <\/em>sector workers, citizens, sufferers of chronic pathologies. <\/p>\n

<\/em><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

The sometimes improper use of medicines, the fake crisis in the pharmaceutical sector, the lack of information <\/em>independent science on medicines, the abuse of commercial contracts for scientific representatives of the <\/em>drug, the need for better professional ethics, the numerous parliamentary acts produced by the <\/em>Forum were the arguments with which the honorary president of the Forum, the Hon. Domenico Scilipoti, has <\/em>open work sessions.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

The difficulties of equitable access to medicines, which still exist today, must be faced and resolved, <\/font><\/span>since bureaucracy, resources or federalism must in any case submit to the needs of patients, to be defined today as "citizens with pathology", according to Dr. Tonino Aceti of Active Citizenship.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
