About 150 doctors of the Local Health Authority of Frosinone benefited from undue compensation for "exceptional and temporary" services which, in reality, should have been rendered as part of ordinary activity. This is what emerged from the investigations by the Nas of Latina. Monthly pay slips also reached 18,000 euros per month against around 3,000-3,500 euros for the salary item alone<\/span><\/p>\n

08 SEP \u2013 <\/span>The accounting investigation by Nas di Latina has been concluded for irregular management of funds by the Local Health Authority of Frosinone, for an alleged tax damage of 10 million euros. The investigations would have revealed an activity of undue payment to numerous doctors of various specialist branches of substantial sums of money as compensation for "exceptional and temporary" services which, in reality, should have been rendered as part of ordinary activity. Approximately 150 doctors who also benefited from 15,000-18,000 euros per month in paychecks against the approximately 3,000-3,500 euros of the salary item alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Regional Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Auditors, following investigations by the Nas of Latina, has issued an invitation to provide deductions against 20 managers, members of the board of statutory auditors and officials of the Local Health Authority of Frosinone and the Lazio Region, for having repeatedly authorized the undue recourse to funds from the Regional Health Service without recourse to the legitimacy or for not having correctly exercised the competent checks on the work of the Frosinone Health Authority.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Nas investigations revealed that, due to the "exceptional and temporary" services, the expenditure of the Ciociara healthcare company increased from around 1 million euros in 2001 to over 10 million euros in 2010, for a tax damage of around 10 million euros in the last five years.<\/span>  Circa 150 medici della Usl di Frosinone beneficiavano di compensi indebiti per prestazioni "eccezionali e temporanee" che, in realtà, sarebbero dovute essere rese nell’ambito dell’ordinaria attività.
