There were at least 150 Sigma-Tau Scientific Representatives who yesterday arrived in Pomezia to participate in the meeting called by the "Sigma-Tau Isf Protection Committee" for the protection of the Sigma-Tau medical-scientific information network, to which they are joining also many other internal workers of the company, currently suspended in CIGS. \u201cWe are against the hypothesis of an agreement signed in the middle of the night \u2013 they explained \u2013 and many other employees, not informants, are joining our dissent. These are people who have very complicated family or personal situations, such as the disabled, protected categories, single-earners with dependent family members who did not feel sufficiently represented". The promoters of the Committee, after recalling that the redundancy fund was not authorized by either the Lazio Region or the MISE, underlined how the hypothetical agreement has "profoundly undermined the unity between the workers who still today have been presiding over the plant for 44 days di Pomezia\u201d and who are now called to decide whether or not to accept the conditions set out in the document. \u201cShould the YES prevail, a vote that a priori seems to be in favor of the \u201csaved\u201d due to the current numerical superiority \u2013 clarify the heads of the Committee \u2013 the permanent garrison will immediately be removed and the gates reopened for the resumption of normal work activity. But the workers in CIGS, first of all the scientific representatives but also many of the so-called "saved", are in favor of the NO, since they consider the latter hypothesis of agreement much worse than what was promised by the company and accepted by the unions in all respects precedents\u201d Yesterday's meeting was convened to hear the opinion of Prof. Avv. Antonio Pileggi, who defined the hypothesis of an agreement as pejorative compared to what had been rejected up to that moment by the union organisations. \u201cTherefore \u2013 they conclude \u2013 the RSU will only be able to obtain the victory of the majority of the \u201csaved\u201d, who among other things are still under the psychological pressure of a hundred letters not yet sent for inclusion in CIGS. Any agreement signed under these conditions will not be for the protection of workers, and will in no way be able to remedy the defects of the current procedure".<\/p>\n
