The CEO of Quintales Italia, Leonardo Zanardi, explains the secret of this success.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

27 APR<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/font>\u2013 In a disheartening industrial and occupational panorama, even for the pharmaceutical sector, there is a reality in Italy in absolute contrast. It is Quintiles Italia, a branch of the American multinational that operates in the sector of outsourced services dedicated to healthcare, from clinical research to the marketing of drugs. The recruitment plan for 2012 announced in January, for about 100 new jobs in Italy, has been launched, with numerous new resources already joining the organization, and provides for the search for profiles in the field of scientific information, market access and clinical research, including Pharmaceutical Representatives, Product Specialists, Medical Liaisons, Key Account Managers, Project Managers and CRAs.<\/p>\n

The secret of this success? We asked Leonardo Zanardi, Chief Executive Officer of Quintiles Italy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doctor Zanardi, in a context of such a strong crisis, Quintiles, in Italy and in the world, instead announces hirings and projects in continuous development. Can you illustrate, through some data, the strength of Quintiles?<\/strong>
The multinational Quintiles is the world's largest clinical research and services organization in the marketing of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology products, present in over 60 countries and with over 25,000 employees. Through the services we offer, we have contributed to the clinical development and\/or commercialization of the 50 best-selling drugs in the world. From 2000 to 2009 we managed over 3 million 200 thousand patients enrolled in clinical trials in all major therapeutic areas. In 2011, we had sales of over $3 billion globally
From the point of view of know-how, among our 25,000 employees there are over 300 doctors and 450 nurses, 1,350 project managers who deal with the management of clinical projects, around 4,300 clinical monitors who deal with following clinical trials at the testing centers and more than 5,500 drug sales reps.<\/p>\n
