The two drugs, until now, were jointly distributed and accounted for a large portion of the group&#039;s revenues. Under the revised agreement, effective January 1, 2013, Bristol-Myers Squibb will return the rights to Plavix and Avapro\/Avalide to Sanofi in all markets except Plavix in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, giving Sanofi sole control and the freedom to operate commercially.
