A pharmaceutical company (Menarini) requested the cancellation of the resolution of the Abruzzo regional council n.1086 of 10\/2\/2006 in the part in which the use of a class of drugs was limited (angiotensin antagonists).<\/p>\n

The Regional Council had provided, by resolution, with the stated purpose of containing public health and specifically pharmaceutical expenditure, binding indications to doctors, pharmacists and local health authorities relating to some drugs with the recommendation to pharmaceutical services to comply with the limits indicated (in the sense that once the indicated limit, here of the 20%, was reached, they could no longer prescribe them).<\/p>\n
