(ASCA) - Florence, Oct 19 - The Florence prosecutor's office has requested the indictment of the top management of the Menarini pharmaceutical company: the founder Alberto Aleotti, accused of fraud against the state, and the children Lucia and Alberto Giovanni, accused of money laundering .<\/p>\n

The news had been anticipated today by some Florentine newspapers. According to prosecutors Luca Turco, Giuseppina Mione and Ettore Squillace Greco, in the past Menarini allegedly 'inflated' the costs of active ingredients purchased abroad, thus increasing the price of 'finished' products.<\/p>\n
