Several le<\/span><\/b> disputed offenses<\/b>: interruption of public service, omission of official acts, adulteration of drugs and breaches of public health contracts. There Turin prosecutor has opened an investigation<\/b>, initiated by the public prosecutor Raffaele Guariniello, on the withdrawal from the market of the anti-flu vaccines of ?Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics Srl and the Dutch Crucell. The investigation was launched following a complaint from Codacons. <\/p>\n

After having found anomalies on the sterility of the vaccines produced, Crucell withdrew 2.3 million doses from the market two weeks ago, while last Wednesday the Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) ordered the withdrawal of half a million doses of vaccines from the Novartis (Fluad, Agrippal, Influpozzi adjuvanted and Influpozzi subunits) after detecting protein aggregation phenomena inside the serums. <\/p>\n

Novartis vaccines, no adverse events recorded so far -<\/span><\/i><\/b> More than five thousand calls reached the 1500 number activated by the Ministry of Health last Friday to inform citizens about the flu vaccination campaign and to support those who were vaccinated with Novartis products before the ban on use issued by AIFA. According to the latest available data, 138 people reported receiving blocked vaccines, and there were no reports of adverse events. The requests for information mainly concerned clarifications on the vaccines subject to suspension, information on the possibility of having the flu vaccination and related waiting times, the possibility of finding other vaccines, ways of spreading the flu.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

To answer all citizens' doubts, the 1500 number will continue to be active, the Ministry of Health assures, as will the section of the ministry's portal containing answers to the most frequently asked questions on the current situation of the vaccination campaign and on doubts relating to Novartis vaccines blocked by Aifa.<\/p>\n
