Modena, 9 November 2012 \u2013 Healthcare scandal<\/span><\/strong>. This morning the carabinieri of the Nas of Parma<\/span><\/strong>, in collaboration with colleagues from Modena, arrested 9 doctors<\/span><\/strong>, including the former head of the Cardiology department of the Modena Polyclinic, Professor Maria Grazia Modena, and the former director of the hemodynamics structure of the same hospital, Dr. Giuseppe Sangiorgi.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Only for Sangiorgi <\/span><\/strong>the investigating judge Paola Losavio ordered the detention in prison<\/span><\/strong>, while all the others are ai House arrest <\/span><\/strong>at the request of the Modenese Public Prosecutor's Office. The well-known professionals are accused of having undertaken a collaboration<\/span><\/strong> at least illicit with pharmaceutical companies <\/span><\/strong>to the detriment of patient health.<\/p>\n

From the early hours of the morning, 150 carabinieri <\/span><\/strong>of Nas and 10 regions have conducted an operation called
'Dirty coats' which led to the arrest of 9 cardiologists. It deals with <\/span><\/strong>Of Maria Grazia Modena<\/span><\/strong>, 60 years old, full professor of Cardiology and former head of the department; Joseph Sangiorgi<\/span><\/strong>, 47, resident in Rome, former head of the hemodynamics facility (the only one in prison); Alexander April<\/span><\/strong>, 37 years old, from Modena, who at the time was attending a master's degree at the Policlinico and currently in service at the Coriano hospital; Vincenzo Luigi Politi<\/span><\/strong>, 34 years old, in service at the Policli<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
