They find it increasingly difficult to buy the medicines needed for treatment. It is the citizens who call the Tribunal for the rights of the sick to report problems on the health front.<\/p>\n

"In this sector there has been a strong increase in reports, which go from 3.1% in 2010 to 4.9% in 2011. While for group C molecules, the figure for which rises from 12.3% in 2010 to 18% in 2011, these are in fact reports from citizens who are unable to cope with the high cost of drugs". <\/p>\n

This is what emerges from the 15th 'Pit Salute' Report, presented in Rome to the Ministry of Health. The survey, carried out by Cittadinanzattiva-Tdm, examines the content of 26,470 related reports in 2011.<\/p>\n

There is also an increase in reports of difficulties relating to drugs in category A, which rise by 5.2 percentage points compared to last year (12.7% in 2010, 17.9% in 2011). "In this case - specifies the TDM - people reported the absurd choice, in their opinion, to make them pay the price difference, even considerable, between the 'designer' and the generic. Even for untraceable medicines there was an increase from 13.5% in 2010 to 15.5% in 2011. We still find many reports in category H, which describes access to hospital medicines (11.61 TP3T in 2010, 10.5% in 2011)".<\/p>\n
