ROME \u00abThe difficult moment for the pharmaceutical industry continues.<\/p>\n

Further confirmation - says the president of Farmindustria, Massimo Scaccabarozzi - comes from the Istat data, published today (yesterday, ed), on retail sales, which recorded a heavy contraction of -5.8%, comparing September 2011 and 2012, month in which pharmaceuticals shows the most marked drop among all expenditure items. Also weighing on sales is the negative trend in the prices of medicines, which in the January-September period marks a -4 percent\u00bb.<\/p>\n
