The purpose of the Global Specialty Medicines Group will be to use the strong presence in the generic market at a local level to leverage the offer of specialty medicines at a global level. Rob Koremans has been named President and CEO of the newly formed Group.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

03 MAY<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/font>\u2013 Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. today announced the establishment of the Global Specialty Medicines (GSM) group. Rob Koremans<\/b>, who will serve as President and CEO Global Specialty Medicines, will continue to serve on Teva's Executive Committee and will report to Jeremy Levin<\/b>, President and CEO of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. "The recent establishment of the Global Specialty Medicines group \u2013 explained Levin \u2013 significantly reinforces Teva's commitment to our patients, customers and healthcare systems by combining the strong and consolidated presence location in the affordable, high-quality Generics market, to our scale and global expertise in Specialty medicines."<\/p>\n

Teva also announced that Dipankar Bhattacharjee<\/b>, previously Senior Vice President Western Europe, has been promoted to the position of President and CEO of Generics Europe, reporting directly to Jeremy Levin.
