"In recent times, the increase in parallel exports has assumed a significant weight in determining the phenomenon of lack of availability of medicines for the public. Even if the current legislation requires both MA holders and distributors to ensure appropriate supplies and continue to meet patient needs, effectively managing this phenomenon is quite complex." <\/p>\n

<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

The Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) stated on its website after the alarm raised in recent days by Federfarma Rome. "Aifa is actively working to involve all the players in the drug supply chain, not only to promptly buffer the critical issues relating to medicine shortages, but also in order to identify new tools that make it possible to stem the distorting consequences of the export phenomenon parallel and ensure the presence of drugs throughout the national territory.<\/p>\n

To this end, everyone must contribute to the search for solutions to guarantee access to medicines for the population.
