The Aifa dg, Luca Pani, has been appointed chair of the European Risk Management Strategy - Facilitation Group (Erms-Fg) of the EMA. The aim of the group is to provide a more proactive direction of pharmacovigilance, putting in place measures that allow for faster diagnosis, evaluation, reduction and communication of the risks of medicines in Europe throughout their life cycle. With the appointment of Pani "we wanted to recognize the vision of the Italian Agency, first to conceive new information systems that will allow proactive monitoring of pharmacovigilance in real life after registration and, as regards products with exclusive national management, their European harmonization", highlighted Aifa.<\/p>\n
