The general secretary of the Ministry of Health<\/a>, Romano Marabelli, today presented a request for suspension from duties and salary following the press reports on the investigation by the Rome prosecutor's office into the case of the Avian and Blu Tongue vaccines. This was announced by the Ministry of Health. <\/p>\n

In the letter, sent to the Minister of Health, Beatrice Lorenzin<\/a>Marabelli motivated the request with the need "to relieve the minister and the ministry of any embarrassment resulting from the media attacks". Mirabelli's reference is probably to an investigation in which L'Espresso in recent weeks revealed some details of the ongoing investigations (read "<\/span><\/b>The secret business of selling viruses<\/span><\/span><\/b> \u2026"<\/span><\/b><\/a> on l'Espresso).<\/p>\n
