\"\"(AGI) - Milan, Nov. 17<\/span><\/a> \u2013 La Roche has decided to sell the Segrate (Milan) plant but for the workers there is "no risk" because "the intention is to be able to give the employees continuity of work". This is the picture drawn by the president and CEO of Roche, Maurice de Cicco<\/strong>, after the company decided to sell the Segrate production site, together with 3 others in Europe and the USA, as part of the review of the production network. On the sidelines of a meeting at the Circolo della Stampa in Milan, de Cicco explained: "It is a decision that is taken by the parent company because in the natural cycle of our products at this moment the production of solids is in decline and will be even more so in the coming years, therefore it is the right time to be able to put these sites on sale at the best conditions, before the real collapse occurs. So I think it's perhaps the right thing to do right now." The CEO ensures that "the intention is to be able to give work continuity to the employees of Segrate", where 380 people work.
\nAt the moment "there are some contacts that are being followed up at a central level because it's not just a problem in Segrate, it's a problem of the 4 production sites, 3 of which are in Europe and one in America". Finally, De Cicco is optimistic about the fact that the story can end positively: "I am always optimistic and never as in this case". (AGI) .<\/p>\n
