Initial payment of 250 million dlr, then up to 1.27 billion \u2013 Rome, 03 Oct \u2013 The British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has reached an agreement with the manufacturer of the anti-wrinkle treatment Allergan, for the license of a drug against intestinal diseases. Under the terms of the agreement, Allergan will initially pay $250 million for the rights to develop and commercialize Medi20700, a drug for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease. In a second step, the US group could pay up to 1.27 billion dollars, a sum that will depend on the success in the development and sale of the drug.<\/p>\n
