Among all emerges the controversial figure of\u00a0<strong>Guido Fanelli<\/strong>, at the time head of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Parma Hospital and university professor. His profession? Not treating people, making money off other people&#039;s illnesses and pain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.notizie.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/18194828_1882516085337353_8466194911947078498_n-768x768.jpg\" alt=\"Fanelli\" width=\"342\" height=\"342\" \/><em>I carry i\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.notizie.it\/la-nasa-contro-cancro-astronauti-indossano-tute-disegnate-bambini-malati\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>sick people<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>and I take the 10%<\/em>\u201c, Fanelli has repeatedly stated. The sentence is just one of many that emerged from the interceptions of telephone calls between the luminary and his wife. It was precisely these, contained in the judicial burden of over 500 pages weighing on Fanelli, that brought out the\u00a0<strong>scandal<\/strong>\u00a0and bring the Parma hospital to the forefront of national newspapers.<\/p>\n<div id=\"upstory_59bb920b16db2\">\n<div id=\"video_box\">\n<p>Guido Fanelli, now former Chief of the Second Anesthesia of the Major of Parma, has been recognized for years by everyone, even at national and international level, as a\u00a0<strong>master of palliative care<\/strong>, as well as founder of the law 38.<\/p>\n<div class=\"inread-widget\">\n<p>What emerged from the interceptions, where Fanelli clearly calculated the suffering of people in turnover, therefore had a\u00a0<strong>violent impact<\/strong>\u00a0on the world of Medicine, in particular in the University Clinic of Parma.<\/p>\n<p>Among the suspects for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.notizie.it\/arrestato-sindaco-torre-del-greco\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>corruption<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>also the children and wife of the university professor, as well as his right-hand man still under house arrest. \u201c<em>Self\u00a0<strong>one hundred people die<\/strong><\/em>\u201d \u2013 is another shocking phrase detected by telephone interceptions \u2013\u00a0<em>with this filter,\u00a0<strong>no one goes to jail<\/strong><\/em>\u201c. Fanelli would have pronounced it in 2015, which explains how the organization had already been active for several years but also highlights the consideration that the doctors involved had of the\u00a0<strong>scientific research<\/strong>\u00a0in the field of\u00a0<strong>palliative care<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>organization led by\u00a0<strong>Fanelli<\/strong>\u00a0he tested experimental drugs on patients, totally unaware of what was happening to them. But that&#039;s not all: to promote drugs, in agreement with the pharmaceutical companies, the Head Doctor drafted false reports or denials and piloted the doctors&#039; conferences, in order to favor the pharmaceutical companies included in the criminal organization.<\/p>\n<p>That he was the boss, no doubt.<\/p>\n<p>In another interception, in fact, he had declared in no uncertain terms: &quot;<em>It&#039;s not that I do the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.notizie.it\/camorra-ucciso-figlio-boss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>boss<\/strong><\/a>. The boss I am\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>me and that&#039;s it<\/em><\/strong><em>. I command. I created a perfect system<\/em>\u201c. And the organization&#039;s modus operandi emerges from the interceptions: &quot;<em>I\u00a0<strong>I take money<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 continues Fanelli \u2013\u00a0<em>from one and the other in the same way. I keep my feet in four or five shoes. I am\u00a0<strong>good boy<\/strong><\/em>\u201c. Then again: &quot;<em>I manage the\u00a0<strong>pain center\u00a0<\/strong>largest in Italy. We do 19,000 surgeries a year. I can\u00a0<strong>move millions of euros<\/strong>; everyone believes what we write, it is the strength of science<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"l8217azienda-ospedaliera-di-parma-ne-aveva-giagrave-chiesto-le-dimissioni\">The Parma hospital had already asked for his resignation<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.regione.emilia-romagna.it\/giunta\/sergio-venturi\/imageDetail_mini\" alt=\"Sergio Venturi\" \/>In the Parmesan environment\u00a0<strong>Guido Fanelli<\/strong>\u00a0he was very well known. But also the rector,\u00a0<strong>Loris Borghi<\/strong>, was on his side: in fact, his involvement also emerged from the investigations which then led to his resignation.<\/p>\n<p>Son\u00a0<strong>Robert<\/strong>\u00a0was the head of a company\u00a0<strong>money laundry<\/strong>, the Crag Up<\/p>\n<p>The wife,\u00a0<strong>Fiorella Edi Nobili<\/strong>, was a medical director, while the other son,\u00a0<strong>Andrew<\/strong>, is accused of reporting scientific works at the request of pharmaceutical companies. The family is everything\u00a0<strong>investigated<\/strong>. \u201c<em>My job<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 he says in another telephone interception with his wife \u2013\u00a0<em>it is\u00a0<strong>industrial espionage<\/strong><\/em>\u201c.
