In 2014-2017, the wait for a mammogram was extended by 60 days, by eight days for a cardiology visit, by six days for colonoscopy and magnetic resonance imaging. During the last year, the health service of their region has worsened according to 30.5% of Italians, a share that rises in South at 38.1% and in the Center at 32.6%. The 80,8% is over 65 years old. In light of current trends, it is estimated that in 2031 there will be 4,666,000 dependent people and the area most at risk is the South, with an expected increase of 10.5%.

Home care data documents a network still insufficient and housing continues to be a sort of Cinderella of assistance, with 273,000 guests. Nor do solutions such as providing assistance to the non self-sufficient with robots find consensus among the Italians (the 73% of the over 75s is absolutely against it).

Fedefarma. 4/12/2017

Related news: AIFA.
