The percentage of dematerialized prescriptions in use in our country stands at around 85% (83.99) according to data from Promofarma updated to November 2017. A true revolution, the final result of a project launched with the approval of art. 50 of law 326\/2003 which introduced the standardized (paper) prescription, the health card (TS) and the obligation to send data on all prescriptions first by pharmacies (2008) and then by doctors (2011).<\/p>\n

Although with some initial reluctance, in short, it seems that online electronic prescriptions are gaining ground throughout the peninsula. Again according to Promofarma data, in about a year and precisely from January 2017 to November 2017, the increase was 4.5% (in January 2017 the total number of electronic prescriptions was 79.45%).<\/p>\n

There are obviously differences between the regions of the peninsula. If in the lead we find Campania (93.83%), in the rear the Autonomous Province of Bolzano (64.62%). And this is already a real novelty. In second place, however, Molise (91.11%), then the Autonomous Province of Trento (90.99) and in fourth place Sicily (90.50%). Followed by Veneto (90.22%), Valle d'Aosta (89.74%), Piedmont (89.45%), Basilicata (88.56%), Liguria (86.44%), Lazio (85.50), Calabria (84.85%), Umbria ( 84.18%), Emilia Romagna (82.54), Lombardy (81.76%), Marche (80.60%), Puglia (77.31%), Sardinia (75.26%), Abruzzo (75.06%), Friuli VG (73.99%), Tuscany (69.81%).<\/p>\n

Emblematic as in the first 10 positions of the ranking, half of the most virtuous regions are in the Center and South. The objective, however, of the dematerialized prescription is to make all the prescription activities by the doctor and the dispensing by the pharmacy synchronous and, progressively, to eliminate paper supports, when the problems associated with the affixing of the punch, through possible different certification of the dispensing of the drugs.<\/p>\n
