The future doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence took part in a day dedicated to what is, in fact, a little-known profession: the doctor who works for a pharmaceutical industry.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

In the classroom, Massimo Galeazzi, Menarini Human Resources Director Italy <\/strong>And Simone Baldini, Clinical Development Leader at Menarini, <\/strong>they talked about the Company and the opportunities it can offer to young doctors.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Simone Baldini, hematologist, practiced the medical profession in a clinical setting; an experience he has not forgotten before working as a doctor in the company, landing at Menarini. \u201cBeing a doctor in the company is a choice, not an escape route; if done correctly and conscientiously, it gives enormous satisfaction, no less than what working in the hospital can give. The big difference is that the patient doesn't thank us because he doesn't know that such a figure exists. The Hippocratic oath has the same value<\/em> - he added Baldini<\/strong> \u2013 for me as for the colleague who works in the hospital<\/em>\u201d.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting is part of a series of initiatives by Employer branding<\/strong> organised, withPlacement Office of the University of Florence<\/strong>, by Menarini to make future doctors aware of their company reality and what the concrete job opportunities might be. Working in a company is a real choice, just like practicing the profession according to the 'classic' procedure following graduation or specialisation.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn a pharmaceutical company like Menarini, there are many areas in which the doctor can carry out his activity: above all research, but, among others, also regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance or the medical-marketing sector<\/em>", he said Massimo Galeazzi<\/strong>. \u00a0
\n<\/strong>Together with research, internationalization has always been one of Menarini's strategic objectives:

\nThey attended the meeting Dominic Prisco<\/strong>, president of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, Vanna Boffo, <\/strong>Delegate of the Rector for Job Placement e Mario Milco D'Elios<\/strong> delegate for Job Placement for the School of Human Health Sciences (medical area).
\n<\/strong>The detailed knowledge of what opportunities a pharmaceutical company can offer a doctor represented an added value for the students for their future professional orientation:
