Colleagues from Salento report to us the tragedy involving my colleague Antonella Antonaci. We report the facts as described by Lecce Today<\/a><\/p>\n

\n<\/b><\/em><\/h2>\n

The neighbor had intervened to help the owner of the house: the shock electrocuted both of them<\/b><\/em><\/h3>\n

AND'\u00a0<\/b>what an absurd tragedy that is happened this morning<\/a> to Nardo<\/strong>, in the province of Lecce, where two women \"\"<\/a>I am death from an electric shock.<\/strong> The events took place just before ten in a villa in via San Giuseppe da Copertino.<\/em><\/p>\n

According to an initial reconstruction, one of the two women, the owner of the house,\u00a0Anna Cinzia Cataldi, <\/strong>she was hanging out the washing in the garden when she came across an exposed electrical cable. Suddenly, a short circuit has occurred. <\/strong>The female neighbour,\u00a0Antonia Antonaci, ISF<\/strong>, immediately rushed to help the woman, but the electric discharge <\/strong>\u2013 maybe because of the wet floor \u2013 struck both of them<\/strong>. The two women, aged 46 and 51, died instantly.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the domestic accident, two other people present on site at the time of the tragedy were injured. These are the owner's daughter and her neighbor. Despite the injuries and the panic of the moment, the girl managed to alert the emergency services. He also rescued his neighbor, as he was quick to turn off the electricity meter. Student she is still hospitalized<\/strong> but he'll be fine. The bodies of the two victims, at the end of the inspection by the coroner, were taken to the mortuary of the hospital in the Salento capital, where they will remain pending further instructions from the Lecce Public Prosecutor's Office<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Antonella Antonaci and her husband Antonio De Paola are our colleagues, scientific representatives of the drug, he is mobile and has a kidney transplant.<\/p>\n

Colleagues describe her as a sunny woman, full of joie de vivre, a pleasure to meet and talk to. Close and active towards our association, Fedaiisf. She was recovering from a difficult period after her husband's kidney transplant and the death of her mother. In addition to her husband, she leaves two children. The eldest, 13 years old, should have been confirmed on Sunday.<\/p>\n
