Today, with the indication in the Conference of the Presidents of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces, and the subsequent ratification in the State-Regions Conference, the Director General of Health of the \"\"<\/a>Veneto Region, Domenico Mantoan, has been designated President of the Italian Medicines Agency \u2013 AIFA. The formal appointment will be made by the President of the Council of Ministers.<\/p>\n

Mantoan, who will remain at the head of Veneto healthcare until the end of the legislature, and will mature the requirements for retirement in the spring, was chosen on a technical level, in the light of the professionalism and competence demonstrated so far in his work, and for the consistency of the curriculum.<\/p>\n

The designation at the AIFA leadership is a recognition for the activity carried out over many years by Mantoan in various areas of health care in the Veneto region and at all the national tables, as well as a certificate for the virtuous management of the entire sector by the Region.<\/p>\n
