US pharmaceutical company Moderna Inc. has begun shipping the first batch of an experimental vaccine\"\"<\/a>against the Coronavirus, announced the Wall Street Journal<\/span>: American researchers believe that by the end of April it will be possible to open trials on a sample of 20.25 people to test vaccine doses. The first results could be available between July and August.<\/p>\n

Moderna has shipped the first vials of the coronavirus vaccine from its manufacturing plant in Norwood, Massachusetts to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, other countries are also engaged in the search for a cure: in Italy, Spallanzani of Rome uses three antiviral drugs to treat the Coronavirus, two that are usually used against Ebola and another effective against HIV.<\/p>\n

In China, much of the treatment is based on the blood plasma of recovered patients.<\/p>\n
