OBJECT<\/strong>: COVID 19 emergency - Replacement of winter\/summer tyres. Extension of deadlines.<\/span><\/p>\n

The directive of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport of 16 January 2013 provides that the period affected by the obligation to use winter tires is the one included between 15 November and 15 April.<\/span><\/p>\n

With circular no. 1049 of 17\/012014, in order to avoid difficulties for the sector, it was deemed appropriate to allow the use, with reference to the penultimate line of the conclusions of circular 104\/95 of 31\/5\/1995, of winter tires (distinguished by additional markings M+S, MS, MS or M&S), in the period between 15 October and 15 May, also with speed index Q, except as established by the directive of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport and by point 6 of the circular 104\/95.<\/span><\/p>\n

With reference to the prevention measures for the spread of the COVID 19 virus, the trade associations have reported the impossibility of respecting, for the current year, the aforementioned deadline of 15 May for the replacement of winter tires with the corresponding tires summer,.<\/span><\/p>\n

That said, in order to take into account the conditions deriving from the ongoing health emergency, it is considered appropriate to allow the use of winter tyres, as specified above, until 15 June 2020.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
