Rome, 13 May. (askanews) - Farmindustria and the trade union organizations Filctem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl, Uiltec-Uil discussed the performance of medical-scientific information activities in the current context of the Covid-19 emergency.<\/span><\/p>\n

The parties agreed that medical and scientific information, "in line with the right and duty of information which belongs to pharmaceutical companies, plays a fundamental role for all healthcare professionals and for the health of the population, as well as for high-level employment quality, which combines technical and relational skills. In the current emergency context, drug companies are guaranteeing the continuity of scientific information by adopting remote comparison methods".<\/span><\/p>\n

In view of a "sooner resumption of direct scientific information activities, there are also measures that are not coordinated at the local level - they highlight in a note - both in terms of the methods of carrying out the activity and with regard to the time indications , for a safe and gradual return to normality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, the Parties, by launching a process of continuous discussion to monitor developments on the subject, also through dedicated meetings, urge that the Government and local authorities can guarantee, especially in the emergency phase, "homogeneous approaches in regional contexts, to facilitate the remote carrying out of the scientific medical information activities; have a possibly uniform or in any case well-defined picture, on the basis of scientific parameters, of the resumption of direct medical-scientific information activities; define, in a uniform manner, the temporary measures of prevention and for the performance of the direct activity, as conditions for the maximum protection and safety of workers, doctors and patients".<\/span><\/p>\n

In view of a resumption of direct scientific information activities as soon as possible, there are also measures that are not coordinated at the local level both in terms of the methods of carrying out the activity and with regard to the time indications, for a safe and gradual return to normal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, the Parties, by initiating a process of continuous dialogue to monitor developments on the subject, also through dedicated meetings, urge that the Government and Local Authorities be able to:<\/span><\/p>\n
