In June 2021, the seasonally adjusted industrial production index is estimated to increase by 1.0% relative to \"\"May. Also in the second quarter the level of production grew by 1.0% compared to the previous one.<\/p>\n

The seasonally adjusted monthly index shows cyclical increases in all major groupings of industries, with growth of 4.1% for energy, 1.0% for consumer goods, 0.6% for intermediate goods and 0 ,3% for capital goods.<\/p>\n

Adjusted for calendar effects, in June 2021 the overall index increased in trend terms by 13.9% (there were 21 calendar working days as in June 2020). Significant trend increases characterize almost all sectors: +20.0% for intermediate goods, +16.2% for capital goods and +10.0% for consumer goods; the growth for energy is more contained (+2.1%).<\/p>\n

All sectors of economic activity recorded increases on a trend basis, with the exception of extractive activities. The greatest increases concern the manufacture of electrical equipment (+25.5%), that of computers, electronic and optical products (+25.3%) and the production of rubber and plastic material items (+23.0%).<\/p>\n
