The Fedaiisf Federal Congress was held in Bologna on 25 September in the meeting room of the Bologna Airport Hotel.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Assembly, which was attended by the federated associations, had a public part in which Dr.ssa Valentina Solfrini, coordinator of the Emilia Romagna Regional Group for scientific information and regional manager of the drugs and devices area took part and the Hon. Rosa Menga, doctor and deputy of the Mixed Group of the Chamber and author of the bill for the establishment of the professional order of scientific informants and the OdG in the Chamber, accepted by the Government, which inserts the ISF category in the priority vaccination categories precisely as a category that operates in the presence of healthcare facilities. Both recalled their actions and proposals in relation to the activity of the ISFs. We will report on their interventions in more detail later.<\/p>\n

The Congress was then opened with the report of the Federal President, Antonio Mazzarella. the President reported that many sections were born and the number of members increased enormously. This has led to a greater and widespread presence in local health realities. Many of these local health authorities were completely ignorant of what the activity and the laws regulating the activity of the ISFs were. THE \"\"representatives of the ISF Sections have sought and obtained contact with institutional, health and political personalities to ensure that our category is better known and truly valued in these offices for what it really is.<\/p>\n

These actions, obviously beyond the restrictions due to the pandemic, led first to an acceptable and agreed regulation for access to health facilities and then to the recognition, by 18 out of 20 regions, of the ISF as a category that operates in the presence of health facilities and as such to be included in the vaccination priority as established by the Government in the\u00a0Interim recommendations on SARS-CoV-2\/COVID-19 vaccination target groups<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>of the\u00a0March 10, 2021<\/span>, with which the categories of population to be vaccinated and the priorities have been updated.<\/p>\n

The federation has produced results and is increasingly making itself known at the institutional tables: we are more present in the various regional technical tables and contacts with Aifa and the Ministry of Health are becoming more frequent, so that the aforementioned tables can also be opened at national. The goal is to continue on this path and to propose itself as a non-necessarily exclusive interlocutor in the name of the category.<\/p>\n

After the reports of the treasurer, Giorgio Pezzi, and the secretary, Vittorio Corti, the Federal Board of Arbitrators was renewed. The following were elected:<\/p>\n

      We then proceeded with the election of the Federal Vice President, following the resignation of Angelo Baruchello due to incompatibility with the contemporary office of President of AIISF. The National Council unanimously elected Antonio Daniele as vice-president.<\/p>\n
