Thus Lorenzo Croce, national president of Aidaa (Italian association for the defense of animals and the environment), <strong>presenting the Lombard public veterinary project<\/strong> filed yesterday and which will be discussed on Monday in the Health Commission of the Lombardy regional council during the hearings on the new regional health legislation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fedaiisf.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_0035-e1426444259197.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8889 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fedaiisf.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_0035-e1426444259197-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0035\" width=\"203\" height=\"271\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fedaiisf.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_0035-e1426444259197-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.fedaiisf.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_0035-e1426444259197-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 203px) 100vw, 203px\" \/><\/a>Aidaa&#039;s proposal<strong> is based on some innovative criteria and focuses on four qualifying points:\u00a0<\/strong>introduction of the public veterinary system with lowering of VAT from the current 22 to 4% for veterinary services; free sterilizations for cats and dogs, even those owned; introduction of a ticket system for visits to public veterinary emergency departments and a tax exemption and deductibility system for simple and complex veterinary services and for the purchase of generic veterinary drugs; introduction of pets<strong> on the owner&#039;s health card<\/strong> to be entitled to payments.
