Chemical-pharmaceutical sector contract: 76% says “yes”.

At the conclusion of the information and consultation process, the majority of male and female workers in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector approved (76.3%) the hypothesis of an agreement for the renewal of the employment contract (over 200,000 workers involved, employed in more than 1700 companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry).

This was announced by Filcem-Cgil which, in a statement from its national secretariat, expresses great satisfaction with the result obtained and with the wide participation in the numerous assemblies held in the workplaces.

As you will remember, the signed agreement last 18 December between the trade unions of the Filcem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl, Uilcem-Uil sector and the entrepreneurial associations Federchimica and Farmindustria (members of Confindustria) expects an average increase total of 150 euros in the three-year period 2010-2012, of which 135 euros distributed on the minimums, 13 euros on the supplementary pension and health funds ("Fonchim" and "Faschim"), 2 euros for the revaluation of the premium for all those workers employed in companies that do not implement second-level bargaining.
