The Italian Association of Scientific Drug Representatives in relation to the recent and current practices of company "restructuring", through the sale of business units, which have seen and still see hundreds of families of drug sales representatives involved, is strongly concerned about the real consistency and solidity of the companies to which the workers are "transferred" seeing possible occupational dangers for their future.
In particular, at this moment, the situation of the colleagues of Solvay Pharma and Fournier Pharma is causing concern who, following the integration of the two groups, through a corporate restructuring plan, would be largely "transferred" to a third party company, "X-Pharma", specifically created to "welcome" the 200 redundancies identified by the Solvay Pharma Management.
In awareness of the delicate phase in which Colleagues, the Company RSUs, the Unions, the Company Managements currently find themselves, as an Association, in respect of the role that belongs to us, we want to express our full solidarity and closeness to the colleagues involved and to the RSUs of the respective Companies engaged in this difficult moment.
The Italian Association of Scientific Drug Representatives asks the Trade Union Organizations to supervise and implement every intervention so that there are no transfers of company branches to new realities without any guarantee that they are not empty boxes, without products in the portfolio, realities purposely created with non-existent structures and without guarantees of survival in the market.
The Italian Association of Pharmaceutical Representatives also requests that the Trade Union Organizations also oppose easy and unconditional transfers of entire company lines to minor company branches, with uncertain prospects and downsizing of the functions and professionalism of the workers laboriously achieved over years of painstaking work.
The AIISF is, as always, at your complete disposal to offer its contribution of in-depth knowledge of the sector to all the Organizations involved in the problems described above.
Looking forward to your reply, we send our best regards.
