Three hundred and forty-five businesses, concentrated in particular in Lombardy, Lazio, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Abruzzo; 165 factories, i.e. production sites with a high level of know-how; 66,700 total employees, down in recent years: 1.1% in manufacturing and 30% in national hi-tech employment. These are the numbers of the pharmaceutical sector illustrated in the Abruzzo capital at the Menarini event to celebrate the 125th anniversary of its foundation.
