MSD Pharmaceuticals to Lose 8,500 Additional Jobs Worldwide by End of 2015

And the time came when even pharmaceuticals – like so many other sectors, politics first and foremost – showed off above all on social networks. It happened a few days ago, when Giorgio Foresti, former president of Teva Italy and of Assogenerics, he announced on his profile LinkedIn to have become CEO of Phidias of Abano Terme, in the province of Padua. The company, known for its proximity to the studios of Rita Levi Montalcini, is currently one of the world's leading producers of hyaluronic acid and is dedicated to the production of pharmaceutical and biotech products.

With a complete and deep-rooted international presence from China to Brazil, Fidia also has a subsidiary in the United States, based in Parsipannj, New Jersey, less than one hundred kilometers from New York. After leading the number one company of the equivalent in Italy, Foresti thus finds himself today having to lead a historic brand of Italian "branded" pharmaceuticals.
