HEALTH POLICY

WHO: HEALTH STATISTICS 2007. WHO has released the report "World Health Statistics 2007", which photographs the statistical picture of healthcare worldwide. The inequalities between developed and developing countries are enormous, but even within the G7 the situation varies greatly: Japan, for example, is first in terms of performance and last in terms of health expenditure, while the exact opposite is true for the United States. Italy shows good results, especially in relation to public health expenditure, the lowest in the G7. Source: EpiCentre n. 205.
