18 SEPT – Published by the Ministry of Health the list of 50 medicines without a prescription (Sop and Otc) best sold to pharmacies open to the public and commercial establishments (parapharmacies and retail distribution corners) in the 2nd half of 2011. The data refer to drugs purchased by pharmacists to supply pharmacies and commercial establishments. The list, in turn, represents an indicator of the Sop and Otc sold to Italians and therefore of the most used by the population.
In the top 3 Tachipirina 500 mg tablets 20 tablets, Enterogermina 2 billion/5 ml oral suspension 20 vials 5 ml and Voltaren emulgel 1 % gel 60 g tube.
In last place, with 525,000 packages sold, is "zerinol 300 mg + 2 mg coated tablets 20 tablets".
