ALGHERO – Friday 17 July, at 9.30 pm, at the Cyrano bookshop in Alghero, Pier Bruno Cosso will present his new novel “Damn heart” (published by Parallelo45 Edizioni). The evening will be presented by Andrea Deiana and Antonio Jodo who will interpret some passages of the novel.

After the success of "The day of the turtle”, Pier Bruno Cosso returns with a new and engaging story, once again set in his native Sardinia. The protagonist of "Damnato Cuore" is Chiara, a young woman from Cagliari who gave up life and love after the very serious mourning of the loss of a sister. But on a rainy morning visiting his sister's grave, his life will change suddenly. A mysterious thank you note, found on the tombstone, will project her on a journey in search of the truth and the rediscovery of happiness and, perhaps, of love.

A novel that develops in just one week, a fragile and dreamless protagonist, a red Fiat Barchetta as a means of transport for an adventure that winds along the whole of Sardinia.
