I have been a pharmaceutical informant for almost 10 years in the province of Bergamo, I don't expect the elderly to strike in front of the clinics to defend our jobs, but at least a newspaper article or a quote from a radio, yes.
Pharmaceuticals is the sector in which there have been more layoffs in the last year, we are talking about 40 percent of employees, managers and others, mostly graduates, who no longer work, are unable to recycle themselves in other roles and sectors and nobody talks about it.
In addition to pharmaceutical informants, secretaries, biologists, economists, pharmacists and many people who have studied marketing and communication for years also work in the pharmaceutical sector. All selected people who have invested years in their cultural and professional training, who have dedicated years of their lives to carrying out projects useful for humanity (life-saving drugs), who have given up, who have sacrificed their families for pharmaceutical companies and for the care of patients and now all of a sudden everything has vanished because of an Italian state that ignores us.
No one writes that the Spending Review (doctors must write only the active ingredient on the red prescription, of course this is known; these days the updating of family doctor programs) has caused so much confusion among doctors and patients and so doing so favors only "equivalent" generic drug companies (very often Indian, Chinese); only a commercial aspect (discounts) is encouraged in the pharmacy, neglecting the quality and effectiveness of the drug.
The historic, multinational companies that are looking for innovative molecules around the world, with fewer side effects and more effective than the current ones, also for treating important pathologies (cancers) will no longer be able to invest in Italy, they will go to other countries and so all the pharmaceutical companies will abandon us given that the Italian ministry does not authorize the reimbursement of new medicines except by placing prescribability stakes that cannot be proposed (notes, therapeutic formularies).
We will become a country with old, ineffective, only poor quality medicines.
