Villasimius (Ca), 5 Oct. (Adnkronos Salute) – The first application for iPhone and iPad dedicated to pharmacovigilance is here. The new App, designed for family doctors who can download it for free, is the result of the collaboration between Fimmg and Aifa, and aims to provide simple, efficient and above all digital support for generating and sending forms relating to reports of adverse reactions to drugs and for consulting the transparency and reimbursement list of drugs. The initiative was launched today at the 67th National Congress of the Federation of General Practitioners, underway in Villasimius (Cagliari). The application will be constantly connected to the Aifa website and its contents will be updated in real time, in the presence of connectivity. It will also provide access to documents, both offline and online. "Adr-Fimmg-Aifa is a useful and very simple to use tool that the Federation makes available to general practitioners - explains Tommasa Maio, coordinator of the i-Fimmg project - It aims to provide a mobile interface for some of the services made available by Aifa. It is a very simple application that allows the doctor to carry out pharmacovigilance even at the patient's home".
