Job description of English ISFs:
1. arranging appointments with doctors, hospital pharmacists and medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or telephone calls;
2. presentations to doctors, nurses and medical staff in general practice clinics, hospital doctors and pharmacists. Presentations are held in physician-arranged environments during the day, or may be given in the evening at a local hotel or conference venue;
3. organize conferences for doctors and other medical personnel;
4. build and maintain positive working relationships with medical and administrative personnel;
5. budget management (for catering, outdoor speakers, conferences, hospitality, etc);
6. keep detailed records of all contacts;
7. achieve (and, if possible, exceed) the annual sales targets;
8. plan daily, weekly and monthly working hours. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future goals with the area sales manager. In general, the ISFs have their area of responsibility and the regional plan of regional target;
9. participate regularly in company meetings and data presentations;
10. keep abreast of the latest clinical data provided by the company and interpret, present and discuss this data with healthcare professionals during presentations;
11. monitor the activity of competitors and competing products;
12. maintain awareness of new developments in the National Health Service (SSN), anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on business strategy and adapting them accordingly;
13. develop strategies to increase opportunities to meet and speak with medical and health sector personnel;
14. keep informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
Salaries and conditions:
1. Typical Starting Salary Range: £18,000 – £24,000 (€21,562 – €28,749).
2. Salary range with three to five years' experience: £25,000 – £40,000.
3. Salary range at senior level: £30,000 – £60,000 (€35,963 – €71,873) .
