CHEMICAL-PHARMACEUTICAL CONTRACT: THE AGREEMENT HAS BEEN MADE

148 EUROS THE OVERALL AVERAGE INCREASE. NOW THE JUDGMENT IS FOR THE WORKERS

On Saturday 22 September, the business associations Federchimica, Farmindustria (both associated with Confindustria) and the trade unions in the Filctem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl, Uilcem-Uil sector signed an agreement for the renewal of the 2013-2015 contract in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector (more than 190,000 workers involved, employed in over 1600 companies, the 90% of which small and medium-sized), three months before the natural expiry of 31 December 2012.

The signed agreement envisages an average increase of 148, distributed over minimums and IPOs, in four "tranches": from 1 December 2012, 10 euros, which represents the recovery of the differential envisaged by the previous contract; from 1 January 2013, 33 euros; from 1 January 2014, 43 euros; from 1 January 2015, 47 euros; from 1 October 2015, 15 euros. Basically, in the three-year period 2013-2015, 3,466 euros will enter workers' payrolls compared to the 3,367 of the previous contract.
