Aifa has launched a series of meetings with the Regions aimed at allowing, through the stipulation of specific agreements, access to funding of 25 million euros for the implementation of active pharmacovigilance projects. The projects, which follow the approval of the guidelines of the Ministry of Health for Pharmacovigilance by the State-Regions Conference, will concern the study of adverse drug reactions; the evaluation of the use of medicines; independent information and training; the strengthening of the pharmacovigilance activity of the Ethics Committees in clinical trials.
Projects from individual Regions and projects of national or multi-regional value will be eligible for funding. From Il Scalpel 05-02-08
