Genoa. False invoice, former Clu director acquitted

Genoa – He was acquitted because the fact does not constitute a crime Gianluigi Blengino, former director of the Club, the University Library Cooperative of Genoa accused of issuing invoices for non-existent operations in favor of pharmaceutical companies.

It was also declared the prescription of the crime regarding the charge of comparator for some pharmaceutical companies. Blengino, defended by the lawyer Andrea Andrei, was also accused of having presented and signed, in the years 2004, 2005 and 2006 fraudulent statements for VAT and income tax purposes but he was acquitted of this charge.

The monocratic judge Domenico Pellegrini, in fact, has declassified from fraudulent declarations into unfaithful declarations and, for the latter, the thresholds of punishability have not been reached. Prosecutor Marco Airoldi he had asked for three years and nine months.

According to the prosecution, the value declared in the invoices for the pharmaceutical companies was true but the falsehood concerned the goods. In fact, the receipts would have indicated purchases of medical manuals but, in reality, again according to the indictment, they would have been objects that served as gifts for the doctors who used the medicines of the various houses.
