 Thursday, 12 June 2014 – Affaritaliani.it

"I spent 35 years of my life working in the pharmaceutical industry which does nothing but annihilate the population of this world. Why do they do it? Because they want to make money, money, money...". This is the dramatic confession of a repentant of the Big Pharma, John RengenVirapen, former sales representative for the Eli Lilly & Co subsidiary, one of the global pharmaceutical giants. That in his book "Side Effects: Death", launches an attack against the big pharmaceutical companies, not interested in curing diseases, but interested only in customers (not patients).
In the book Virapen dwells at length on recounting the case of "Prozac": "I bribed the Swedish government to obtain authorization to sell Prozac in Sweden. And Sweden has the Nobel Prize for Medicine. And so the event was an example for other countries…".

Here are all Virapen questions
“Did you know that big pharmaceutical companies spend an estimated $35,000 to $40,000 a year on every active doctor to get them to prescribe their products?
Did you know that the so-called opinion leaders / opinion makers - i.e. scientists and qualified doctors - are bribed with expensive trips, gifts or simply money to review medicines positively, when serious or even lethal side effects have become public knowledge, to dispel the legitimate doubts of other doctors and patients?
Did you know that many drugs approved and released on the market only have short-term lab tests done, and no one knows what effect they may have on patients who take them for a longer period (or for life)?
Did you know that the research results and statistics required for a new medicine to be approved by the competent authorities are often falsified so that deaths caused by drug side effects disappear from the records?
Did you know that more than 75% of top medical scientists are on the payroll of pharmaceutical companies?
Did you know that there are drugs on the market for which corruption has played a fundamental role during the approval phases by the competent authorities?
Did you know that the pharmaceutical industry invents diseases and advertises them with targeted marketing campaigns to expand the market for their products?
Did you know that the pharmaceutical industry is increasingly watching children?
No. Many of these things you could not have known, because the pharmaceutical industry has every interest in keeping them secret.
