Nice - Pharmaceutical entrepreneur Diana Bracco, the 7 guests of her yacht and the 4 crew members were rescued by firefighters off Nice airport in the afternoon. Bracco, 76, was on the boat which caught fire in the Cagnes bay around 2 pm.
The vessel, a 40-metre yacht named If Only is probably unsalvageable.
In recent years If Only had been at the center of an investigation in Genoa against Diana Bracco for tax evasion, a bit like what happened to Flavio Briatore.
Diana Bracco is CEO of the pharmaceutical group of the same name and has a conviction for tax evasion.
