Medical recipes and prescriptions online. This is a hypothesis under study for the next Budget. The target is to improve the control of health expenditure and to obtain savings. Experimentation should start in 2009. Family doctors approve the proposal, but believe that the structures are not ready for this change.

Diabetic foot medications increase the risk of cancer

FDA has issued a 'warning' relating to the prolonged use of Regranex (becaplermin), a Johnson & Johnson drug for diabetic foot. The use of 3 or more packs of the medicine would increase the risk of dying from cancer by 5 times.
